Bob Trotta: Charity is at the Forefront of His Agenda

Spending time with his father’s construction kit became a key factor to the ultimate success of Robert Trotta, more popularly known as Bob Trotta, the person behind the multimillion-dollar real estate developments in Tuscany and Jamaica. Had it not been for the small construction business of his family, Bob Trotta would have been a lecturer of history or a teacher in their village back then.

Bob would not have helped a lot of kids to read and be passionate in going to school. But Bob was exposed to the world of construction early on and because of that, he was veered away from being a teacher or lecturer. He never looked back since then.

Trotta’s Dream of Contributing to the Education Sector
He would have been a passionate teacher. Bob Trotta’s ardor for education is best exemplified by his support to kids aged four and five years old in Jamaica. Through The Palmyra Foundation, Bob Trotta has given school text books and other educational materials. As the government of Jamaica does not supply learning aids to children in pre-school, Bob Trotta wanted to fill the gap and help eradicate illiteracy in the country.

Through the Palmyra Foundation, Bob Trotta helps provide books to children to prepare them for the first grade. According to sociologists and psychologists, pre-school learning is very critical to the development of children because it is during this time that the brain develops at its maximum capacity, making it the best time to teach kids. As one of the biggest sponsors of the foundation, Bob Trotta shares in the mission by improving children’s self-esteem.

Today, Bob Trotta is almost everywhere. However, he prefers to stay in Jamaica, a place he believes is where the nicest people in the world live. According to him, Jamaicans are very welcoming; they remain humble despite the massive wealth being brought to them by the members of the expat community who also prefer to stay in the country.

This is also why Bob Trotta is very dedicated to the Palmyra Foundation. The non-profit charitable organization started just recently in 2007 but because of the efforts of more than 100 international volunteers, including Bob Trotta, more than 100,000 books and 25,000 children across 14 parishes in Jamaica have received help.

Patience and Luck: Some Tools for Success

What sets Bob Trotta apart from the rest is his knack for choosing the locations of his developments. In addition, he knows what the luxury market demands and he delivers. In Tuscany and Jamaica, he created hotel accommodations that remain unparalleled up to now.

Despite the fame and luxury, Bob Trotta continues to be humble and generous. He remains active in his various businesses and investments but his charitable activities, not only in Jamaica, remain at the forefront of his agenda.

Bob Trotta Build a Better World for Jamaican Kids

Hotelier’s Vision to Build a Better World for Jamaican Kids

A lot of people may know him as the man behind the luxurious and prestigious Castillo del Nero, a world-class hotel in Tuscany, Italy. Indeed, Mr. Robert “Bob” Trotta has been the driving force behind that success but he is more than an expert in the field of real estate development. He is also a great philanthropist who desires that every child in Jamaica be educated and learned.

Projects for Educational Development

The legendary developer is heavily involved in the operations of The Palmyra Foundation, a non-profit charity organization in Jamaica that seeks to provide educational materials such as school books to children aged four and five. Bob Trotta shares the foundation’s aim to eradicate illiteracy across the country. He believes that through his humble efforts, children would develop a positive outlook in life. They will develop self-esteem and would eventually take up a role in the community. The aim is to give hope of success as the kids grow up and face life’s challenges.

A Good Samaritan by Nature
Helping people is not new to Bob Trotta. Ever since he was a child, he had been involved in charity work. Bob Trotta was born and raised in the US. During his school days in Ohio Northern University, he had a project that involved raising funds so that local residents of Ada could rebuild their church hall. The fundraising event was a huge success and afforded them the expenses of rebuilding a part of the church. Up to now, people of Ada remember with great fondness the generosity of these students led by Bob Trotta.

Life was not always easy for Bob Trotta and this is one of many reasons why he has a soft heart when it comes to those in need. Bob’s parents owned a medium-size construction business and therefore, he was not born with a golden spoon in his mouth. His knack for real estate was developed early on in life because of the family business’ influence. He used to spend his days as a child playing with the construction kit. This gave him an advantage, which he used later on in life to build his empire.

Hard Work Pays Off
The most recent development is The Palmyra Resort & Spa located in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The resort is a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Rose Hall Mansion, an 18th century house in Jamaican Georgian style. The Palmyra blends beautifully with the splendor of the Rose Hall mansion. It features a private island located in a tropical village, giving guests an unrivalled experience to which only those with royal blood experienced.

Bob Trotta has imagined his success right from the very beginning. Thanks to relentless hard work, the great philanthropist has earned the respect of every man, not only because of his world-class hotels but also because of his efforts in building a better world for the kids of Jamaica.
